Who We Are:

Jet Set Now was founded by Melanie Van Orden. Melanie used to be chained to a receptionist desk before she up and moved to New York City with her husband to study social work and psychotherapy. After receiving her master’s degree, she decided she could travel the world and make more money if she used her online marketing skills she learned from her husband’s internet businesses. (See below.) She is now an online music marketing consultant and hopes to start an “online psychotherapy clinic” in the future.

Jason Van Orden, co-owner and contributor to the Jet Set Now blog, is a consultant in the fields podcasting, internet business and social media. He is the founder of the consulting firm he owns with Melanie, called Van Orden Marketing and Media, LLC, and the host of the popular podcasts Internet Business Mastery and The Podcasting Underground.

Melanie and Jason’s dream destinations include Argentina, Paris, Panama, New Zealand, Croatia, Dubai and Australia. Their last residence in the U.S. before taking off for their worldwide adventure was a three year stint in New York City.
